www.squaretrade.com In this video, we test The Motorola Xoom, Samsung Galaxy and the iPad 2 to see which of these devices survives a waist high drop. RESULTS: iPad 2: Suffers brutal screen damage. Motorola Xoom: Falls flat and hard since it’s heavier. Suffers brutal damage in line with the iPad 2 Samsung Galaxy: Survives drop with minimal screen damage. Smaller, lighter, and less surface area. PS We don’t cover intentional damage like you see in the video. Filmed and edited by Jeph Foust.

MobileBurn.com – The Samsung Galaxy S II is the second generation of Samsung’s massively popular Galaxy S flagship smartphone line. It features a large 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen display, a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, and HSPA+ 21Mbps download speeds. We tested a UK model in this video, but AT&T will be releasing a similar device with a larger 4.5-inch screen called the Infuse soon. More info: www.mobileburn.com
@tdlee31 From Gorilla Glass website they all do except iPad2. Any update?
Because of this video I actually decided not to buy a Tablet..haha..
@chronotechsss no, I got my iPad 2 for Free, simply google for: freeipad2giveaway.info
So I don’t give a shit about the quality of the iPad 2 sound quality 🙂
great unboxing video btw!
I never thing before how is your doing??
0:50 😀
But who pays for the tablets? Or the fixing? You guys? I don’t believe it.
I’m selling my tablet after this video. Thanks guys. (It’s a stupid good for nothing object anyway).
Woah u break this stuff? Think about africa where iPods don’t have cameras! Or how FaceTime does not exist. OR when… When Tvs weren’t HD. And where houses have… No flush
You should drop the Toshiba thrive
They should be made of high quality plastic
Which one if any has the Gorilla glass?
omg ,, i’d been saving my money to buy one
Your review makes no sense. ALL the tablets had cracked class and had to have that glass replaced. This isn’t a “this cracked less” and “this cracked more” issue.
if u guys have so much money to waste, pls use it to help those people who are in need of money.
Best thing to do is not drop it!!!!
vcs tão tendo bastante dinheiro pra gastar assim hein… comprem um de cada pra mim aÃ… -n
?????, ? ????? ??? ??? ????????
These aren’t realistic drop tests – nobody would drop them face down like that. Not to mention, there’s no real point in comparing which one fared better. The screens on all of them broke, necessitating either repair or replacement. Game over, please try again. 🙂
Silly scare tactics to make us buy warranties.
No thanks.
Now make a video where u destroy them!
thats why you buy a cover dumbasses
@alchemikful And now it’s 342k and climbing. In time it will probably be worth it.
Am I the only one who finds it quite unacceptible that these relatively mobile devices are soo easy to destroy? Does the screen have to be glass? Could it be more durable? I think so! I’m not buying any tablet before they can pass that droptest. It’s bound to go on the floor at some point.
YOu are crazy???

@WonderfulLins the galaxy series from samsung seem pretty solid. a mate of mine has the galaxy S and it works wonderfully. and i’ve just ordered my galaxy S II
you can’t edit 1080p video, that’s why the videos weren’t showing up
This is a great review showing the power of this marvelous phone, thanks a lot!!
@omgyesplz1 I think it’s gonna be from sprint and they changed the name to Samsung Within!
This is a great phone. Even though I love my iphone 4 this phone seems amazing. Spec wise and everything else. I don’t mind giving credit when it’s due. 🙂 Just don’t know how I feel about Samsung. Done had 2 bad experiences with them and their phones. Wouldn’t mind giving this a try though.
When it comes to the u.s what carrier will it be on
