@MrSultanification Actually the Galaxy S is twice faster than iphone 4’s GPU and Galaxy S2 is twice faster than Galaxy S. Galaxy S gets 24fps in Nenamark2 and Galaxy S2 with 47fps.
GALAXY S2’S GPU IS DOUBLE THE POWER OF THE IPHONE BITCH….. HENCE ‘QUAD CORE GPU’ RATHER THAN THE IPHONES ‘DUAL CORE GPU’ AND IF U DONT UNDERSTAND IT MEANS- GS2>IPHONE!!!!!! π
@niteshthedevil, the samsung just released. It will take time for the firmware to run more stable. There could have been a ton of other contributing factors of why the LG performed better than the Samsung, so don’t run your mouth based on a 5 min video on which is more powerful…base it on benchmarks
@NarutoNZHD thats not the problem… they games are for both not optimized but i know for sure the tegra 2 is better… i dont like LG but this phone is great.. and if the new android is comming.. the optimus will even work faster… i bought the optimus and it works fine and it has HDMI connection and not like the s2 usb 2 hdmi
You probably had a lot of apps opened on the S2, you should have killed all the apps before playing each game so we could see the full potential of each device.
@niteshthedevil The only reason it’s slow is because the games are not optimized for the Samsung device. There are games that will be more optimized for the device released in the short term
@cipendejsik But that doesn’t apply for the last example @niteshthedevil gave.. Right there, it is the graphics card that is the bottleneck of the Samsung Galaxy S II. Raw graphics card performance shouldn’t be affected by how many times a game is loaded or whatnot. So overall, LG is the winner here, but bear in mind that it might change after a few updates on SGS2’s side π
@niteshthedevil but u forgot or havent captured that those games were run for the first time on the galaxy while on optimus they were already played, so maybe thats why it was loading a bit slower
Guys have you notice why they positioned this two phones in an awkward way?
Its just because they are to bias with samsung (gsmarena duh.) ,(love samsung phones) this is the angle that the LG 2x is not on its best, if you will just level this 2 phones you wont hardly notice the deference, no doubt that the Tegra 2 has the upper-hand with gaming. thumbs up if you agree
@niteshthedevil u are so wrong now,this is the best phone at the moment ,didn t fail a thing,top scores and everything,i don t know why you didn t see this a month ago
@kahuna3901 This is bullshit. You know why? I myself got my Samsung Galaxy S2 a couple of days ago and the first game I downloaded to try, guess wich one? Thats right. Shrek Kart. Not a single stutter!
I dont think this video is fake BUT something is not right here. Absolutly not. And before you flame let me put a movie up so show you for myself that the Samsung Galaxy S 2 kan run this game completly smooth without a single stutter.
@niteshthedevil you freaking idiot, 1:02-1:13 and 3:05-3:10 is a load-time, which is hardly connected to the GPU. It’s all about the CPU and of course the memory. 5:11-5:37 *might* be because of the GPU, but how do you know that the tester guy did not load the Galaxy S2 with loads of bullshit, and had the Optimus 2x fully clean running only 1 process? Yes I thought so…
By looking at the Date of the Video uploaded, We can clearly get to know that Gsmarena have done the test on a Prototype model of Galaxy S II. And moreover, Load time doesn’t depend upon the GPU. And, I could see Market running in the background which might have slowed the SGS II furthermore.
@nyqa yeah but 5:11 onwards is rendered in real time, the galaxy s 2 stutters like crazy, horrible frame rate whilst the tegra runs it like a dream. the mali 400mp is worse the the original humminbirds’s power vr540
@niteshthedevil interestingly the original galaxy s gpu was superior to the mali, its a sacrifice to have this cpu overclocked and save power. personally im looking forward to the tegra 3’s gpu, looks like it will be incredible. i have to say that the a5’s gpu is very sophisticated but because its not on android im not going to get a chance to use it.
display galaxy s2 is very beautiful
@niteshthedevil
the same GAMING performance as what phone?
Nenamark2 (benchmark for highend GPUs, since SGS2/Nexus S/SGS have 60fps limit)
Optimus 2X = 28fps
Galaxy S2= 47fps

Respond to this video
and for the lag, it because nvidia’s tegra 2, is older and games are more optimized for it. …
@niteshthedevil
i dont give a crap the sgs2, has super amoled plus, nuff said.

never buy lg.
(Spiderman,Shrek kart,) Versions Of The Games Werent optimized For The Exynos CPU

@niteshthedevil galaxy S2 is badly optimized, but itΒ΄s hardware is more capable than the tegra2

dats it… i ll go wid lg… thanks man!! i was confused between the two.. now i ll not leave lg , i ll upgrade it π
galaxy s2 was lagging in the last game (shrek kart)….
come on obviously….lg has better graphics card Nvidia
