i have checked in local currys store there is a lag in retail version.
samsung should have kept the back because they really have to work on that plastic which appears to be their crappy trademark.

Wow, I was torn between this tab and the Toshiba Thrive but after seeing how crappy the touch screen is on the Galaxy I’d never buy this thing! Nice hands on video buddy, if I was Samsung I’d whoop your ass for making my product look so horrible.

If you watch carefully, it looks like it wasn’t lagging, but the actual touchscreen itself seemed to not pick up on swipes and some presses :S

Looks like a great device but according to a samsung rep they are a discontinued item after the release Ipad2. Samsung got sight of the Ipad 2 and decided their Galaxy Tab needed to be thinner too. So this model has been dumped and when they sell out the next model will be thinner and lighter. Up to you whether you can wait for the next model.
