@realneo55 Doesn’t Egypt run GSM networks? If so, get a Tab 10.1 with GSM which should work on your 3G, not the? CDMA Verizon version.

@MobileTechReview im unable to get past the screen that says unable to activate call customer service.. i just got the device today pulled out of box came with sim card..no verizon service,? put in sim card and wont do anything..called verizon she said i cant use wifi unless i have verizon service for the 4g..(i did turn on wifi and i cant get any home screen) thanx for the reply!
@anny31 You can absolutely use WiFi without Verizon’s 4G LTE services on this tablet. Turn the WiFi on within a hotspot/access point, you? will see you can go online.

@MobileTechReview hey lisa i read your comment that the 4g lte won’t work with a 3g wifi router?? i have the same problem in here there is only a 3g? wifi router i can only use this i don’t care if the net will be slow but at least i want to be able to use it in a 3g wifi mode
p.s i can’t return the device coz i orderd it from the internet :s

@6mrs6vampire6 If you just need to use WiFi, get the WiFi version. The Verizon 4G LTE version has? 4G with fallback on 3G. There isn’t a 3G option.
@MobileTechReview hey lisa, i want to ask you if i buy this device? can i use it in wifi mode only without puting an 4g lte sim card in it?? coz im going to order without contract only the device, and would it work fine with a 3g wifi??

@JuliaTheVampire It’s not the size? that’s the problem. GSM and LTE are completely different radios. GSM SIM doesn’t work on LTE regardless the size.
