@polize234 Great ! i ordered the tab 10.1 myself….you know it’s funny that I said 2-3 yrs webOS might catch up…I was completely wrong, my words didn’t even last a day and I’m reading how HP is getting rid of webOS.

There are many features on the Touchpad that are not mentioned here, but definitely the lack of applications and the recent annoucement from HP that they trashed all PRE and HP Touchpad devices makes this tablet something to avoid. Anyways, does anybody know if you can play webkinz on the Touchpad or the Android tablets? Thanks.
@AshamanDice Sorry but it aint… quite clear in this video that it is not as fast… so dunno wtf you’re talking about you Pad fanboy! I have tested all of these in store for quite a while now as im considering getting one… and the ipad is in one word “simple”.. its boring as hell! at least with the samsung you can make it yours and customise it. THAT IS USER EXPERIENCE, not just being able to change the background.

Galaxy is better because of RAM? Hah! The iPad 2 is faster than the 10.1 Tab. That’s a fact. Who cares about cameras on a tablet? It’s not noticeably thinner or lighter. The customizations are few (widgets for the few good apps Android has and live wallpapers that slow things down and that’s pretty much it).
Stop believing in specs and start looking at the user experience. If specs were all that mattered, then one of those crappy Windows tablet would be selling well.
If you’re not a fanboy, just save yourself the trouble and get the iPad 2. As a Transformer owner, I can tell you there’s nothing that special about Honeycomb that’s worth getting it. Oh and flash is overrated. It’s not like you can use Hulu with it, and every other site that has videos also have html5 versions or apps in the iPad app store (including Hulu). So the only thing flash does on my TF is show me ads that slow down Browser a bit.
The iPad has the apps. It’s that simple.

My dad’s got a Galaxy, the old version though and he loves it 🙂 He would’ve bought an iPad but there was no flash… and he streams videos so much. Sadly he can’t do it outside the house cuz… there aren’t any mobile internet thingas for the galaxy yet…

@applePWNSall Factually, it’s not… Galaxy is better because of; it’s RAM, both Cameras, it’s thinner and lighter, it’s customisable, it runs flash, the screen is wide and has a better resolution, and the colours are far clearer. What does the iPad have? low RAM, no flash, it’s fat (width wise), it’s boringly uncustomisable and the cameras suck.
iPad 2 is best for sure!!!!

@megacool213 yeah, im not so sure, i mean the Viewsonic G tablet has like 10 hours with a tegra 2, it has a decent battery though

@prisonson Anything with more than 256mb ram and more than 260mb app storage space will beat the Archos 70. I love my Archos, but it is quite crippled because of those limitations.
you can’t beat the archos 70
for gaming galaxy tab probably the best 7 inch tablet. but for watching movie archos is much better, why? there’s a HDMI output installed in it. I got 2221 quadrant benchmark score on my archos 101 with 1.2ghz (overclocked), but it doesnt mean your device is good at gaming performance. the GPU of galaxy tab is way better than archos considering the price too.
Is there android marketplace on the elocity a7?

@juggy313 The Elocity is the fastest tablet to date. You will see that documented in my next side by side video which will test web browsing performance. The opinion I expressed here is based on the overdrive experience with the Archos so no need to change my position. Your argument is better suited when comparing only the Galaxy tab and the Archos. With the latest firmware updates of the Archos 70, you can select overdrive as a power management option, which greatly increases the speed of the processor(up to 1ghz)… With that option selected, it’s just as fast as the Galaxy Tab, and Elocity… Bump so everyone can know…

@Darkhoster That is a 10inch tablet. Not sure if I will end up reviewing it in light of the recent update issue, Moto Xoom will be here some time next month though…

Great vid, thanks. I purchased the Archos 70 after watching your rerviews and I am happy with it. Installed Google Apps (a snap) At times it frustrates me as the OS as crashes once a day. Apart from that the customistions have made it a good device, not great but good.

@megacool213 It isn’t. The Elocity has 2 1500mah batteries on board. In this case the poor battery life is a result of a small capacity battery.
