The galaxy tab is about half the price but what does the ipad have that the samsung galaxy tab doesn’t.

i go for samsung galaxy tab since it has the ability to call and it is more portable compare to Ipad.
I’d go with iPad. I hear next release, this year, will have a camera…..like iPhone 4
Apple has more services and content on the Ipad than on Android devices. Theres netflix, hulu plus, Podcasts, tons of music, movies, etc. You would have more fun getting free stuff and be able to purchase high quality products. I myself would get an Ipad because I subscribe to Netflix and I use hulu all the time. I dont have cable, so content is important to me.
If I were to get the Samsung Galaxy, I would not have an easy way to get high quality tv shows or movies at a low price. Samsung has a media store but its very small. A galaxy tab would be great for web browsing, email, book reading, games, and already purchased media content.
Also, to correct you, the galaxy tab can be about the same price as the Ipad. The reason why your saying that is half the price is because it may require a two year contract with a service provider. Sprint has it for $299.99 with two year contract. Monthly service price is 29.99 or more. 24×30=$720 Thats more than your lowest price Ipad.

The samsung galaxy tablet is good for a bussiness person on the go yes it’s small and portable and also great for people like me who only use it to web browse ,read tech manuals,with the front and back camera to take pictures and download it to my pc using google picasa to edit photos and a very good traveling tool, now if you are into movies,videos,music and a lot of fun apps. then go with the ipad, and apple do have some good free apps. and some good paid for as well
